Major Update and Many Apologies!

Ok... who can blame me??? I went back to work for 2 weeks and when i got home I certainly did not want to get on the computer! So I apologize and here are some pictures in no particular order to catch you up!

I love her so much!

Our little girl is not so little! 12.3 pounds, 24 inches long and still growing (95 % for both!)!!! She is perfect in every way and I am so excited to spend every day with her this summer!
*
BTW... SHE LAUGHED OUT LOUD IN THE STORE YESTERDAY (JUNE 9TH)... I couldn't believe my ears! I laughed out loud at her and it made her do it again! I was so excited I left my phone at the store... all is good, I found it! The people at the store were super friendly and excited with me!
*
Until next time... which will be sooner, I promise! Love and God Bless!

Sassy Pants

Lovin' it!!

***WARNING*** We just want her to go to college!

Justin and I have no affiliation with colleges...
*
If you want to send Gracelee a jersey from your school of choice, she will gladly represent it (except a Sooners jersey... as a Texas Girl, that is against our religion!)!
*
We happen to have family that has attended this great university, and are smart and successful individuals! We like the conservative morals that the student body possesses... although there are still jokes that go around about this school that we laugh at...
*
At any rate, as long as she goes to a college, we are happy...
*
And with that lead... here are her A&M pictures, jersey courtesy of Ms. Collins... thank you so much!!!!!!
*
The Cheerleader

I know I am a smart cookie... I have a shirt that says so, but my attitude is everything!
I am so proud of her even now!

Big Girl Bath!!

Gracelee will be 8 weeks on Monday... Time really does fly! She is growing into such a beautiful baby and she is an angel on earth!! She is gaining more and more head control as the days go by, so we thought we would try a "REAL" bath in her bathroom... it worked beautifully! She loved being submerged in the warm water, and even had a good time with her new pal, Rubber Duckie! I love her so much! She is truly amazing and the coolest thing that God has ever given me!

She LOVES her Daddy!!

Family Time!

Such is a wonderful thing when family comes in town for a visit!!! My Uncle Tommy, Aunt Clarice, and cousin, Ashlee, came for a visit to meet Ms. Gracelee on Saturday after Trey's graduation!
*
That is right! You heard correctly! Thomas William Dunaway the third named Trey (which is exactly how he would say his name... word for word... when he was little) graduated from A&M on saturday! Where does the time go?!?! It seems like yesterday he was wearing his Ghostbusters pack and carrying his Ninja Turtle Sai!!!
*
Trey and Ashlee are amazing kids! They are smart and sweet and devout Christians! They exude confidence and self esteem ( in a good way) and they love with their WHOLE heart and soul! As brother and sister, I have never heard them argue and they seem like really good friends!
*
Our visits never seem long enough, and I wish like crazy we lived closer to family! at least it is still in Texas...
*
Thank you for coming! We love you and cannot wait until the next visit!
*
Uncle Tommy and baby Gracelee
Aunt Clarice and baby Gracelee
*
The search for a house continues for Brian and Keila.
We hope like crazy that they find something that is perfect for them AND it is close by!!!
The reason:
*
Look how she loves them!!!
*
She cannot help nuzzling Uncle B... He is so muscle-y... and she feels so safe!!
And sweet Aunt KeKe!! I know she is dreaming and thinking about the fun shopping trips!!
It was a great weekend!!! Not long enough, but when are they??
*
I sit here holding my sleeping baby thinking of the fun this weekend entailed... knowing how sleepy she is... not wanting to let go.... not wanting to put her down... loving every minute of my wonderful, God given life!

The Return of the Boa

She loves this thing!

A Convo with Aunt Amanda

I am positive that this will be an on- going trend...
*
Convos about clothes, school, and the trouble with boys!!!
*
Awesome!

Mother's Day with Lessie

On Sunday we got to spend Mother's Day with Lessie, a.k.a. Grammy. We had so much fun, and it was Gracelee's first visit to Grammy's house!!!
*
It is such a joy to be close with your in- laws! Justin and I feel very blessed that our families get along so well, and could literally spend every holiday together! That will make it so much more pleasant come Gracelee's first Christmas! Not everyone is as lucky as we are!
*
We had a great time on Sunday! Gracelee was in a perfect mood, as usual, and was the bell of the ball with her coos and giggles! She enjoys her family, and I could not ask for more!
*
Good food, good company, and a great time! Thanks, Lessie! We love you!!!!!! My husband would not be the man he is today without you, and he is a great husband and a WONDERFUL dad!

Sweet Cherries!

OMG!!!
*
I cannot stand it!!! God has given me so much joy!
*
This is her cherry outfit and I could not pick just one picture to post... so here are all 4!
*
From the bow on her head to the red trumpette socks... I just want to squeeze her all the time!
*
Here the pictures are in random order:

Sweet Cherry Smile
The I cannot help it if I am beautiful pose
The Cherry Happy Feet (she is dancing and cooing in this shot!)
The I cannot wait until I can really jump pose
*
With only a week left at home with my angel, I am trying to soak up as much time with her as possible. The tears flow abundantly when I think of it, and it doesn't make me feel any better when people tell me that I only have to go back for 2 weeks... IT IS 2 WEEKS!!!! She is my morning, evening, and night... she is the air that I breathe and when I think of not seeing her for 10 hours out of a day, it is like the wind gets knocked out of me! She makes my heart beat so fast on the inside that I am sure you can hear it on the outside... her little mouth and her vibrant eyes... Will she miss me? Does she have a concept of time? Will she feel abandoned? Will she remember me when I get home?
*
Crazy fears, I know! I cannot help it though! This is all so new to me... and I love her so much!
*
I know ever whimper, every coo, every smile... I know when she needs to be changed, when she needs to eat, and when she just needs a little momma love!
*
Please pray for my peace of mind... I just don't know how to leave her!

Fancy!

The Saturday night of Mother's Day weekend, our family got to spend time with our dear friends, the Jasters. They have 2 lovely, well behaved little boys, and we are already arranging Sam and Gracelee's marriage! Sam is 13 days older than Gracelee, so its perfect!! And she had to get fancy for her future boy friend!
*
Thank you to Christie and Creighton for opening your house and for being such dear and incredible friends!! We love you!

Happy Mother's Day!

Yay!!! It was a beautiful weekend and it was incredibly special! I had the best first mother's day!!! To start, I got a new car... the details of how are not important... just that everyone is okay by the grace of God, and thank you to my Dad for helping us!!! I got a special tea that has imported organic roses from Sri Lanka and India (for those of you who don't know, I have a hot tea obsession!)... thank you Justin and Gracelee!! And, I got an incredible shirt from my dear sweet momma! And then... I open this on our busy Saturday morning... the cutest little outfit from my dear sweet daughter... the one who has graced me with her presence, the one who makes my heart jump into my throat... the one I love so deeply I could never explain it!
*
How Much?
This MUCH!!
*
We started our Mother's Day extravaganza friday evening by picking up our brand new 2009 Toyota Rav4, which I love!!! And then Saturday we headed to my mom's for a big lunch with my Aunt Bonnie and Cousin Lindsay, and her daughter, Kennedy... who is so precious I can hardly stand it! Lunch was great, and we had incredible family time! That evening we had dinner with our favorite friends, the Jasters... I posted about that above this post! = )
*
Yay, our family!
*
This is precious Kennedy
Then Sunday, Gracelee made her first appearance at church! I got to show off MY daughter and hold her all through the service, only sharing her a little bit... I am working on that I promise! After church, we headed to my momma's for dinner. We had a blast! TJ and Mom, who were later joined by Brian and Keila, had LOTS 'O' FUN in the pool, and then we enjoyed some delicious baby back ribs that Jimmy cooked and Justin cut up! It was awesome! Oh... and Brian and Keila made an offer on a house!!! Yay!!!!! Prayers that it all works out!!!!!
*
Max and Lady Kisses... yum yum!
Moms and daughters
Oh... and I had to have a photo shoot of my angel in her Mom's Day outfit! We included one of my favorite items... the feather boa... which, come to find out, is one of Gracelee's favorites too!!! Whoo Hoo, Girly Girl!!!
*
All Smiles! She really is a GREAT Baby!!
This is so much fun!!!
And Lady needed to wish momma a Happy Day too!
Our Sweet Family
My precious Angel
To all the Mommies: Happy Mother's Day! Keep loving with your whole heart!  My little angel is 6 weeks old... where did the time go? I might wake up tomorrow and it is time for prom... I want to know when it is that day that I relished every moment, every second with this amazing gift from God! I want her to know that I love her every second of every day!
*
Thank God for Mother's! I have an amazing mother! I thank God every day for her and the life she provided for me, and I pray that I can fill her shoes for my daughter! I want my daughter to look at me the way I look at my Momma... in the light of God... she is an angel on earth!
*
Happy Mother's Day!

She is everything worth living for!!!!!!
