Jaxson's 3rd Birthday!

Last Saturday we travelled to Arlington, Texas (home of the Cowboys) to celebrate Jaxson's 3rd birthday! I cannot believe that kid is 3! Time really does fly!
*
*
Jaxson is such a love bug! I love him so much! He is such a big boy and so sweet at the same time! We had a really good time watching him blow out his Super Man cupcakes and opening his many, MANY presents!

Gracelee had a great time with the family and hanging out with her best friend, and cousin, Annabelle! They played on the toy mat the entire time and no one fussed or cried... even through all the noise of the toy drum... LoL!!

*
Wonder Woman made an appearance at the party, too!
*
Isn't she precious?!?!?!?!?
Toy Time!
And there comes a time when enough is ENOUGH!!!!
*
Thank you Auntie for letting us stay with you! We had so much fun!

Lovely!

She did it! Whoo hoo!!!!

I will get a picture of it!

I have several witnesses to the next stepping, I mean, crawling stone in baby girl's life!
*
She pushed up on ALL 4s last night... 3 times!
*
OMG... Crawling here we come!
*
Good job baby! Mommy and Daddy love you so much!

Photo Shoot: Outdoors

Okay... we have decided to share what we took on Sunday... after I started editing them I could not wait! The only thing is that Justin and I would like to do something special with these, so we are not passing these out just yet... your patience is appreciated!
*
Enjoy!

There's that tongue again

Most of the time she looks like her daddy, but this picture looks exactly like momma's baby pictures...
What a ham!
Little Angel!

AGAIN with the tongue... ewww I just want to pinch her!
And I love the turtle pants that daddy picked out! Wait until you see the little sweater that matches them... it is a little too hot right now!
My love and life! She is amazing!

Silly Gracelee!

So another new thing that she is doing is sticking out her tongue and blowing raspberries EVERYWHERE!!
*
It is really cute!
*
We have a blast with family time!

Sorry it is dark! But it sure is cute to hear her talk!

Visit with Grandpa!

Sunday afternoon, we made a trip to see Grandpa. Of course, every time we go up there we eat like royalty, and this time was no exception! We arrived to Prime Rib and mashed potatoes ready to eat! We were greeted at the door by Chrissy, dad's black lab. She is one of the sweetest dogs on the planet! As you can see, Gracelee fell in love with her immediately!
*

... there is that tongue again!
Gracelee felt completely at ease at grandpa's house! No fussing or crying! She was completely chilled out! It was a great visit with some Guitar Hero and Rock Band action also!
We also had a not- so- good experience at a McDonald's preceding our trip... which is a story in itself for another time, and a story about Walmart... that we won't get into either... BUT... we finally got Dad's Father's Day Gift in (and it had the correct pictures... imagine that!) and we were able to give it to him on Sunday...
And Gracelee received a gift too... where does she ever go that she doesn't get something... YIKES!!
*
She received a beautiful cross, 14 kt gold with her birth stones embedded in it all on a very delicate gold chain! It was gorgeous and she will wear it proudly when she is not teething anymore! = 0 )
We had a great visit, and we cannot wait to do it again! Thank you for the use of the backyard too! Those pictures are soon coming... but I want them to be a surprise! ; - }
Love you Dad! Hope you feel better Denice! And we hope you had fun at your party, Brittany!
Love you all!

Happy Birthday Lessie!

On Saturday evening we went to Grammy's house to celebrate her birthday. Amanda made the most delicious dinner, and everyone got presents... isn't that fun! I got a fantastic Lolita Glass, Aunt Amanda got cute decorations for her classroom, and Gracelee got a Belle dress! Yes, my little princess received a "princess" dress!
*
Of course, Lessie got some wonderful gifts too! Some beautiful Brighton jewelry, Swarovski crystal, ballet tickets, a Gracelee bag and a frame with a Christening picture in it!
*
We had a really good time, and it is so much fun to celebrate!
*

I love her face!

Gracelee's New Experience

Since her sitting up debut, Ms. Gracelee has now graduated from the Bumbo to the booster seat for eating. This booster is really cool because it comes with a tray full of toys that can occupy her while I am making her dinner, it is removable for eating time, and it folds beautifully so that the chair can be pushed under the table. We have one that stays at the house and one in the trunk to take everywhere we go! This eliminates the need for a highchair... thank goodness! Those things can be soooo nasty!

My Precious Bath Bunny

I love animal hooded towels!

5 months and 6 days

So...

5 months and 6 days into this whole parenting thing, and I could not imagine a better life! It is incredible to think that on September 1st, Justin and I have been together for 5 years... look at how God has blessed us...

Baby
Wonderful, Sweet, Amazing, Magnificent, Glorious, Breath-taking, Loving, Child!
*
In her 5 months of life, Gracelee has been the most wonderful gift from our heavenly Father... she is our reason to get up and be better people... she is our reason to live life to the fullest!
*
My momma said, "You are responsible for her memories..."
*
So, we are ready to make them!
*
Baby Girl,
You are amazing! You brighten the day with your smile! I cannot get home quick enough from work to see you! I love how you are so easy- going and spirited at the same time! Every where we go people stop to look at you and say how beautiful you are. They love that you smile at them... it warms the heart of every person no matter their demeanor! You are so smart! You recognize your name and you are sitting up all by yourself! You are eating so good... you hardly make any mess at all! You LOVE to be clean, and you are such a cuddle bunny! You say Ah-Goo, Nana, dada, and mama... of course, you have no idea what you are saying yet, but it still makes our eyes water and our hearts bounce!
You are a precious gift, and we want you to know that you are so very loved and admired at such a young age! We want you to always be loving and caring and good natured. It is easier to live life to the fullest without worrying about what others think and do... and it is always easier to follow the rules and ALWAYS be honest!
We love you so much, baby!
5 months and 6 days...
And our lives are so complete with you here!
Love,
Mommy and Daddy
