Can I get an Amen for Gerber Rice Cereal!
OMG!!! And so it begins! Our little munchkin, on her 4 month birthday, experienced her first taste of "real" food! She did really well, although she has been smacking her lips for the past 2 weeks while WE are eating, and I think that was her way of saying, "Hey! I am R-E-A-D-Y!!!!" She went shopping with mommy, and we bought her some Sassy bowls of her very own, and some brown rice... I figure we are going to start her out eating the fortified good stuff... I think I can spare the extra dollar!

She donned a fancy bib with bling, of course!
And she sat, in the ready position while mommy pumped milk for the mixing!
And here goes nothing! Her VERY FIRST BITE!!!!!!!!!! She is such a big girl!!! I am so proud of her! She made a very tiny mess, and I think it's because she was really ready!
Yum Yum!!! Licking the spoon will be a fun thing to do when mommy makes cupcakes! All in good time as that stuff can really hurt her right now! BUt come her 1st birthday, all bets are off!!! = )

She loved every minute of it!
And was always ready for more!
Justin and I are in total agreement that this picture is our favorite and will one day make it's way into a wedding video montage!
Lady was all about it too! Little does she know that soon, very soon, Gracelee will be her best friend come dinner time! What falls on the floor is no ones business! That is the privilege of being a dog!
That was so much fun, and Gracelee slept so good!
I need to head into her room right now because I hear her playing with her crib toys BY HERSELF for the first time after she has woken up from her nap! I need to snap a few pictures! Yay!!!!

Big things in small packages

Thank you so much for my bracelet! We got it in the mail today! How did you know that I love bracelets??? I try to wear my butterfly ring that sits on my car seat all of the time!

When we opened the box, momma started crying and said she has the best Auntie in the world! I know her tears were happy ones!

I cannot wait to wear it on Sunday when I get to dress up!!! I am so excited!

Today was doctor day, and here are her stats:

The doctor said she is perfect, and that we can start rice cereal!!! Won't be long now until she is having her first cupcake!!

She got 2 shots today that hurt her feelings really badly, but she got over it and is happy as a lark now!!!

Library Day!
Tuesday at the Library is Mother Goose time for infants. Gracelee and I learned about this a little too late, but we thoroughly enjoyed the experience today! We were joined by our dear friends, Christie, Luke and Sam! We had so much fun!!!

Luke was (and always is!) such a good boy! He listened and participated so well! You can really tell that he is being worked with at home!
