Transitions...

And she did it! ALL night in her big girl toddler bed!
As I sit here and type this, I can hear you in your room... it is morning and you are playing with your monkey... I am waiting for you to come to me... It is such a change! My baby to a big girl... deep breaths... {tear}

Mother's Day 2011
To my daughter,
Never in my dreams did I envision this...

Easter 2011
Easter in the Sutherland household goes like this... typically, as this is only our 2nd year in the groove... Year one she was only a week old... wow. {tear} Last year she was only 1, but we had a blast...
Thursday: Maundy Thursday at Church (This year TJ did an AMAZING job playing his viola with the choir... it was beautiful and moving... so much so that the tenors and basses forgot to come in... ha!)
Friday: Good Friday (typically a day off from work to reflect on the previous night's message, spend time with family, and remember our Savior died for our sins... LCISD decided that was not a good idea... God please forgive them.)
Saturday: Camp Campbell (see previous post) and in the evening it is dye Easter eggs
FUN times!
CHEESE.....
Plop...
Stir...
Set... wait, patiently... or with a little song and dance...
And Crown them... duh! Princess!!!!
Then...Sunday: Church (Justin and I were blessed to have our very talented friend, Joe, come to play drums for us while we sang our FAVORITE Easter songs)
And then, pictures in the prayer garden...
CUTIE PIE!!! and I LOVE her dress! and her PURPLE SHOES!!!!!
Daisy and her Beau, Donald, came via the Easter Bunny... Daisy made the journey to church with us... Good thing she wears purple... it works!
He arose! He AROSE! Hallelujah, Christ Arose!!!!!!!!
Egg hunt number 4... It was not the last, but I stopped counting! She is awesome!!!!
Did I mention we like confetti eggs?
(Disclaimer: Next year will contain a BUNCH of confetti egg pictures as they were half off at Kroger... I bought 6!)
The day following this fun, I found out that I am going to be an AUNTIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Next year there will be an additional DERRINGER joining our EASTER F-U-N!!!!!!
YAY!!!!
EGG HUNT #2: KENNEDY'S HOUSE
It is officially a tradition!
The Campbell Egg Hunt the Saturday before Easter has become such a treasured part of our holiday!
Kennedy and Gracelee are such good friends and they seem to be getting closer and closer! Kennedy is such a sweet and special little girl, who always makes Gracelee feel included... It is so nice to see them play so well together!
Good food, great family, REALLY fun time... complete with confetti egg baseball/ bonk- you- on- the- head- and- make- a- mess

See... Gracelee was a little nervous to do the slide... only at first... so Kennedy made a train to show her it wasn't so scary after all... So sweet!

Practice makes perfect! We dyed some eggs too... the kids did such a great job! We really had a blast!
Thank you Lindsay and Josh for such a fun time! We look forward to next year with a little baby there to play with! YAY!!!
