School Days: Pictures

So this is the time of year when most kids that go to "BIG" school get their fall school pictures...

Well, those of you who stay at home and keep your kids or those, like me, that have the BEST in home sitter, we don't get those professionally posed wallet sized school momentos...

So, it was decided, after receiving one of the cutest shirt presents ever, to take "school" pictures of each kiddo at Mimi's house!

I love my precious daughter and the memories I capture each time she lets me photograph her! My pictures are my very favorite treasure!

They help me remember each moment and I LOVE that she lets me take her picture nearly everyday!

Dewberry Farms 2011

We took our annual trip to Dewberry Farm this past Saturday.

As always we had a blast!

We met up with the Keans for some good 'ole family fun!

The kids had a great time, and as you will see from the pictures, the adults did too!

It was a beautiful day, still hot, but a thousand times cooler than last year!!!! I was stressed because we were taking a family picture for part of our Christmas card and we were going to be in shorts... Well, people, this IS Texas, and Houston, Texas to top that... IT IS HOT HERE!!! So, in order to NOT have a heat stroke, we opted for shorts. Oh well.
