Dewberry Farms 2011

We took our annual trip to Dewberry Farm this past Saturday.

As always we had a blast!

We met up with the Keans for some good 'ole family fun!

The kids had a great time, and as you will see from the pictures, the adults did too!

It was a beautiful day, still hot, but a thousand times cooler than last year!!!! I was stressed because we were taking a family picture for part of our Christmas card and we were going to be in shorts... Well, people, this IS Texas, and Houston, Texas to top that... IT IS HOT HERE!!! So, in order to NOT have a heat stroke, we opted for shorts. Oh well.

First Choir Performance

So this is my little cherub...

It is so hard to believe that she is old enough to do this...

How did my little girl get so big so fast?

How am I the momma in the audience watching my baby perform?

How did it happen that the little angel I have been dreaming of my whole life go from being so small she could fit in one arm to the wonderful, good natured, sassy, kind, important, smart, beautiful little girl she is today in the blink of an eye?

Life is wonderful! I just cannot imagine it without her... nor can I even remotely remember life before her... Funny how that happens!

There is a performance that is a little more head on posted on facebook... it gets really crowded, as you can imagine, when the little ones are performing... it is still pretty cute!

Go to a "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" birthday party... And you get some beautiful, colorful baby girls!!! Thank you for inviting us Ruth!! You are such a sweet girl!!!!!

We had a blast waiting and making this first experience magical, GRAND, and 3D!!!!!!!

Gracelee was beside herself, and sat through the ENTIRE movie! Of course, I snuck in snacks, but she didn't complain and we made it out the theater without spending $50 in food.

It is magical for the parents too! Just to watch her face light up and see her imagination come to life in front of her was pure AWESOMENESS!!!!

What a delight to experience that with her!

Many moons ago, I got a Happy Meal with a Simba beanie baby in it... this day, it made a come back in the arms of MY little girl! He sat through the whole movie too! = )
