ADVENT CALENDAR DAY 1
So it is that time of year again!
Joyful noises, pretty decorations, reflecting on the birth of our Lord and Savior...

Heeeeelllllloooo Advent calendar! So I am trying to make this an annual thing... Where you get 24 days worth of pictures... Last year she was still so little, but the pictures turned out so good! I had to try again!!! I cannot believe how much changes in a year! Wow...

The Elf on the Shelf was gifted to us 2 years ago, however, his magic has just begun this year! She was finally able to name him herself...

November 19, 2011: The Houston Butterfly Museum
Houston has so much to offer, and rarely do we take advantage. But having kids and great friends, allows you to truly appreciate the city you live in and all of the things it has to show you, involve you and teach you.
The Keans and us took off one saturday morning to the Houston Museum of Natural Science to check out the Butterfly Garden.
WOW!!!
It was awesome!
You see everything from the cocoon to the end... a true circle of life!

The Dads got to experience the joy and wonderment also...
It was super cool! Having never been there myself, I enjoyed watching the amazement on the kids faces, and the experience was magnificent!!

School Days: Pictures
So this is the time of year when most kids that go to "BIG" school get their fall school pictures...
Well, those of you who stay at home and keep your kids or those, like me, that have the BEST in home sitter, we don't get those professionally posed wallet sized school momentos...

So, it was decided, after receiving one of the cutest shirt presents ever, to take "school" pictures of each kiddo at Mimi's house!

I love my precious daughter and the memories I capture each time she lets me photograph her! My pictures are my very favorite treasure!
They help me remember each moment and I LOVE that she lets me take her picture nearly everyday!
