River Trip

This past weekend was a mini family trip to New Braunsfels. It was Gracelee's first trip!! We will remember it always as a great trip... just too short!! Thank you Robyn for planning it all, thank you Auntie for the steak and salad, thank you uncle Tommy and Aunt Clarice for the wonderful breakfast, thank you momma and Jimmy for the hamburgers!!! It was a LoT of FUN!!

When my family gets together, there is always a dangerous discussion on religion and politics... This year TJ made some really valid points! He is really growing up so fast and he is so smart!!

Jaxson pretty much stole the show and our hearts while he was at it~ He was so cute playing with everyone!

He was very loving and gentle with the babies... he even asked to hold baby Gracelee, who he calls "Ce- Ce"

Gracelee, Annabelle, and Jaxson made an appearance at the swimming pool for about 30 minutes... that is all the little girls could handle. Jaxson, I am pretty sure, could have played there all day!

It was a lot of fun... they were tuckered out!

A butterfly caught the attention of Mr. Jaxson and he got pretty close to study it! It is truly amazing to watch them learn!

Uncle J. taught Jax how to blow water out of the noodle like a Dolphin! So Fun!!!!

Don't worry Jaxson! We will do it all again next year for a longer time! Maybe we will visit some place that no of us have ever been to!!! Won't that be fun!?!

Happy Birthday Momma!

We went on a river trip this past weekend and celebrated momma's birthday! We had a great time with family and friends... Momma got what she had been asking for... a Grandma's Notepad and a Gracelee Mug! So much fun!

We had dinner at the new Gringo's in Rosenberg when we got home... Fun times as you can see in Baby's little face!

TJ survived another church Choir Tour! He always has so much fun and the stories and devotionals are amazing! The youth at our church truly inspire the people they meet, and they are really good kids with really good hearts!

Gracelee's First 4th of July

She is the most special thing that has happened in our lives! We are blessed to have a happy baby... we are blessed to live free in a great neighborhood... we are blessed to have a phenomenal family and a great church... we are blessed to have fabulous friends! This 4th of July was a great celebration!

4th of July Party

The fireworks show from our yard is incredible! This was our 2nd annual 4th of July celebration a la Sutherland... Hot dogs and drinks and Salads at Momma's to start and then homemade ice cream and cobbler from Lessie!

Dinner at PF Changs

There were so many people that tried to convince us that our life was about to significantly change when we had our daughter... in many ways it did, and only for the better!

We decided to go out to dinner because I had cleaned out the bedroom closet and cleaned the house and Justin worked ALL day... many people think it is crazy for a couple to take a 3 month old out to dinner... and to a nice place at that!

For all the skeptics, Gracelee did amazingly! She was the bell of the ball while we waited for our table, and fell asleep just in time for the entree to get to us!

Life is GOOD!!!! Having a child is scary and it does change your life... But what I have learned, mainly from family, is how to let your life evolve and not come to a stop!
